Moreover, most of the people living with HIV/AIDS have a poor health and
are mostly weak. This makes them to be continuously absent from work.
These resorts into either dismissal or suspension .Those who are
self-employed also don’t attend to their work .All these leads to low
households and families’ income.
The vicious cycle of HIV /AIDS and poverty reduces resources to invest
in health and education of the children, depleting the country of human
capital in both the present and the next generations. More so the
disease leaves many children orphaned and thus more criminal activities.
Criminality comes as a result of orphans who engage in such activities
so that they can meet their daily bread
